The Theater In Your Mind

Describing itself as 'A show inspired by classic radio dramas such as Murder at Midnight, Suspense, The Mysterious Traveler, Dimension X, Nightfall, and many others.' The Theatre In Your Mind is the brain child of Jon Holland. With a list of inspirations like that, it can come as no surprise to those of you who know me that this anthology series is one of my favourites.

The stories are lovingly crafted and well written, the acting is of a very high standard and so is the sound mixing and production. Even the promos for this series give me the chills and they regularly aired on TFBADS when we were on A1 Radio.

There are at present only 11 episodes of this phenomenal anthology of dark speculative fiction but I am given to understand that more are to come.

The tales cover dark drama with episodes such as “Anything Helps” and “The Man inn the Red Suit” to supernatural tales such as “When Words Form”, “The Dog Days of Summer” and my personal favourite “The Card”.

Several of the episodes have strong language throughout, so if that is likely to offend you (and if you are listening to modern dark speculative fiction you will probably be used to it) please keep that in mind and don't blame me! Personally I don't mind at all, especially as it is all in context and to me adds immensely to the realise. Of course I'm British and we swear a lot.
