Pandora's Wake: The Nomad Chronicles is an audio book rather than a full cast audio drama. To be more accurate it is, or will be, a series of audio books. It is currently being released 1 chapter at a time on Youtube, beginning with book #1 of the Nomad Chronicles, entitled 'Kenopsia'.

The nomad chronicles is set on a post apocalyptic Earth shortly after a catastrophic event ripped holes in the skin of our universe. An all together more hostile world, the Other-Verse, began to pour through these rips, slowly terraforming our planet into a nightmarish vision of itself. Alien viruses and bacteria took a heavy toll upon humankind. Driving us to the verge of extinction. In “The Nomad Chronicles” we follow the story of a band of tenacious, nomadic, survivors trapped in central Europe in the aftermath of the Pandora Event and the catastrophic plagues. Alien animals, carnivorous plants, and even hostile survivors threaten our protagonists at every turn, and it seems like each nomad has a secret of their own that they keep from the others.

 

In the first book, 'Kenopsia' the nomads, infected with deadly fungal spores from the Other-Verse must reach the hospital at Bex, Switzerland and hope they can barter for a cure. When they reach the town, however, they learn that their problems are just beginning.
