Welcome to 'Tales From Beyond A Darkened Sky', please, do come in and make yourselves... uncomfortable. I am your host and guide to the strange lands and mysterious dimensions that you may find beyond the darkened sky, but you may simply call me Ghost.
So, perhaps you would like to know just what it is you will find here? Allow me to explain. Tales From Beyond A Darkened Sky is dedicated to the medium of Audio Drama – or Radio Plays if you prefer the older term. We deal here in the macabre genres, Horror, Sci-Fi and Dark Fantasy, for these are the tales that you will find lurking in the realms 'Beyond A Darkened Sky'.
The site will provide a gateway to these strange tales, links to various shows but more than that, your erstwhile host, the mysterious Mr. Ghost will offer you reviews and columns about these many great tales.
Tales From Beyond A Darkened Sky began as a radio show. Host, the enigmatically named 'Ghost' introduced an evening of audio plays, talking a little about their history and introducing them to the audience. 19 Nocturne Boulevard​ was one of the first modern audio drama anthologies to be aired on TFBADS and remained one of the listeners favorites in all the time we were on air. 3 years ago 19 NB went on Hiatus when it's creator changed jobs and could no longer find the time to indulge what was essentially her hobby.
Now she is looking to bring it back and you can help make it a reality!

Some News from our frineds at 'The Wicked Library'
To all you Wicked Writers: We have some exciting news for you today!
First, in an effort to keep everyone constantly terrified, your librarian has decided to open a limited window of submissions for audio shorts for our Wicked Newsletter. These are flash fiction (or a little longer) - between 1,000 - 2,000 words with the sweet spot being around 1,500 words. Each selected tale will be converted to an audio experience with minimal music /sfx.
Second, we receive a large number o...f amazingly Wicked Tales, but can't make each one into a audio. However, we'd love to share these stories with our audience and help you grow yours. So, Your Librarian is going to be selecting some of these stories to add to his "Private Collection" which fans of the show can access via a special section of our website. If you're interested in having your story available for online reading please indicate this on the submission form. Submissions for this section will remain open indefinitely.
